I loved Seasons of Our Love. The well developed characters nudged their way into my heart or not. Some I loved to hate. I rooted for Danny and Rosie from start to finish. The story moves, but not linearly. With lots of twists and turns, you might want to fasten your seat belts. Whenever I put the book aside, the story lived inside my head calling me back. I never stayed away too long because I knew the author had more surprises in store. I hope there's a sequel because I didn't want this one to end. Angela wove an intriguing, compelling romance that anyone with a soft heart will want to read. I look forward to more from Angela Gascoigne.Product details

I really enjoyed this book. As this isn't my usual genre I wasn't sure what to expect but Angela Gascoigne didn't disappoint. It's refreshing to read something quite light hearted yet enthralling at the same time. I became engrossed in the characters right from the start as the thought of Kate appearing with just her cat caught my interest and to see the blossoming romance after her bad experience kept me rooting for her and despising Septic Sadie! I would definately recommend this book and am going to find other titles from her.
I've only recently become a reader of indie authors, my reading was usually king or koontz, topped up with a bit of Coban. Angela Gascoigne is yet another extremely talented author that I have happened to come across. It starts with Rosie running away from her boyfriend armed with only her cat. What follows is something endearing and delightful, as she meets the cat allergic Danny. The characters are very believable, the story goes at a good place and urges you to read on. It's full of humour and heartache and you just want to race on to see how it all ends. A change of author and genre for me and I'm so glad I did. On a more general note, there is an amazing bundle of indie authors, who in my turn are legacy authors in their own right, Gascoigne is just another to add to that breed. Get it now. It's a beaut.
This is the first book I've read from Angela Gascoigne. I loved it and look forward to reading more from her! The Seasons of Our Love is a well written, modern love story with a bit of intrigue mixed in.
From the forgetful aunt to the beloved cat, you'll enjoy all the characters (okay maybe not Septic Sadie).
An excellent choice for a summer read.
Reading this book was such a wonderful surprise! Not only was it written with a light, contemporary hand, but so believable. The seasons used as a backdrop for the stages of a new relationship were a clever device and quite effective for the tone of the scenes that followed.
I never give a plot away, but Maggie was the one who stole my heart. She was a beautiful human that had her own formidable issues, but acceptance and love was her daily bread.
Love stories the "real" kind are the absolute best. There was so much hope in the pages of this book. I look forward to reading the next installment. If you have not read this novel, you should definitely put it on your list.
This is a romance, but it is not the normal kind you read. This story is more of a real life story with all the hardships and twists and turns we all go through. For Rosie, getting away from an abusive relationship lands her in Shrove and meeting Danny and his aunt Maggie. The story follows being told by Danny and Rosie as their love and life goes through struggles and joys. The author does a good job bringing to the pages an emotional tale of love, life and everything that comes with!
This was an amazing tale. The real life struggles and triumphs this couple went through was heart wrenching and beautiful. This author made you feel for the characters in a way that made you think you were reading a biography instead of fiction. Great read!

I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance with some heart wrenching moments before true love wins out.
